Giving due credit to H2G2 (the  Hitch-Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy - bless you Mr Douglas Adams), and cross-linking copiously to Wikipedia (bless you too, Mr Jimmy Wales), while nodding a head to The Dombeau's Guide series of books - that's right - Dombeau's - (If I had an IP lawyer right now, they might tell me to keep my head down to avoid getting hit by a book with a black-and-yellow cover...or a small, low-flying baby elephant...need I say more...), BRG's - the series of BabyRobot Guides - humorlessly seek to SIMPLIFY LIFE - operating on the SIMPLE premise that Truth is SIMPLE:

Why be any more complicated than needed?

We hope in  time to produce a full range of simple BabyRobot Guides covering all popular areas of life: from science to politics, to the arts - all viewed from a "NO PRIOR ASSUMPTIONS" standpoint - as per the guiding philosophy of BabyRobot.Net's approach to life.

BRG Volume 1: The BabyRobot Guide to the Basics of Life: BRG GTT BOL

This first volume will be part auto-biographical, part observational, documenting my on-going experiences as I attempt to figure out how this world really works, and what I have learned / am still learning in my limited time "down here" - resulting in a guide that I hope will be of immense value to future generations of visitors to Earth! :-)

Each of us is a unique expression of the journey that our Soul takes (for those who believe in that type of thing, or Viewpoint, for those that don't) in this life (and possibly others). Wouldn't it be great to receive a simple set of instructions in our initial years on Earth, which could help us get a grasp of what's what and who's who down here?

Most parents obviously try to give this kind of guide to the basics, to their children, but there are gaps in the knowledge of us all, so by means of a collaborative effort, it is my hope that the BRG Volume 1 will cover the most useful things we all wish we had been told as children, but maybe weren't.
